Message from the President re: CSUSA 2018
Dear Neighbors and Friends of LCHSA,
Most of you have heard about the Citadel Country Spirit USA music festival being held at the Ludwig’s Corner show grounds, August 24-26, 2018.
When the Chester County Convention and Visitors Bureau approached the LCHSA Board asking that we consider the show grounds as a site for a country music festival, we recognized a unique opportunity to showcase northern Chester County and attract positive national attention to the region, its businesses and hotels. Bringing high caliber entertainment to Ludwig’s also offers a special treat for our area’s country music fans.
Impact Entertainment, the company producing the festival, is highly professional with many years experience managing national-level sporting events and concerts. For the past five years, it has successfully organized a similar country music festival at the fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, California.
To ensure a successful and safe event here at Ludwig’s, principals have met with West Vincent Township, Homeland Security and Chester County officials on several occasions to identify and resolve potential issues. For example, to mitigate traffic congestion along Route 100, festival-attendee parking will be off-site, in the vicinity of the turnpike, and shuttle buses will provide transportation to the show grounds.
In May, you’ll hear details about open neighborhood meetings with Impact Entertainment and LCHSA representatives where you can have any of your questions answered in person.
I assure you that all of us on the Board of Directors of LCHSA are very impressed with the depth of experience and professional approach offered by Impact Entertainment, and expect this to be a first-class event for Chester County.
I am happy to be contacted at info@ludwigshorseshow.com should you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Sarah C. Reese
Board President
