Volunteers

Students who need Community Service hours for school, church, youth group, scouts or other such commitment can easily gain service hours by helping out at the Country Fair over Labor Day Weekend. The Volunteer Chair will give the student a confirmation letter on LCHSA letterhead, please ask. The LCHSA/Foundation is a 501(c)(3)

Volunteer Positions:

COUNTRY FAIR

Parking:
This job entails helping cars find empty spots to park. You will walk up and down the car aisles looking for empty spots and directing cars to those locations. Please dress for the weather.

Main Gate:
The job entails collecting parking fees from each car. You are responsible for making change for cash and accepting electronic payments. Training will be provided. Please dress for the weather.

Ticket Booth:
Job entails selling tickets for food, candy tent and children’s rides. Must be able to make cash change and understand electronic payment systems.

Children’s Games:
You will work with young children to help them with face painting, magnet fishing, glitter painting, etc. Parents of young children may bring their young children for their shift.

Pet Parade:
Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
General help with parade participants. Must like a diversity of animals.

Volunteer Tent:
General help as needed.

Event Tent
Help set up tables & chairs on Saturday afternoon.
Help break down tables & chairs on Monday morning.

Food Booths
Take orders and tickets for food catered by Dragonfly Catering (Epicurean Garage). Volunteers do NOT do any food preparation.

All volunteers are asked to work a maximum 4 hour shift. Please note that we may ask to have you swap a location or time slot, based on need. Please be flexible. Volunteers do NOT do any food preparation, food handling or food sales
