Owen J Roberts Mural

Thank you to the Owen J. Roberts High School National Art Honor Society for the installation of this fabulous mural at our grounds. This colorful mural depicts a pair offoxes, a gray horse and trees, measuring 24′ high by 13’ long. It was planned to wrap completely around an old skeet tower as a grounds beautification project. We are amazed at the talent and dedication of the students who worked for months both planning and implementing the design and painting.

Special thanks go to OJR art teacher & NAHS advisor Tracey Schiavello, for spending countless hours with the students both in and out of school; to Jillian Biddle for her mural design, and to LCHSA Board member George Cooney, who brought this project to OJR and coordinated building repairs and logistics for the students.

The next time you are at our grounds, please take stroll to the top of our property and visit our new mural!

Gratefully,

Sara Jane Lubrano
