Live Music at the Country Fair

Enjoy Live Music at the Country Fair from 1 pm – 4 pm each day over Labor Day Weekend

Erik MacCain
Saturday, September 2nd

Erik has been playing the guitar for over thirty years.

“I am very fortunate that I have been able to retire from my twenty-one plus year career as a parole officer to focus more time on doing something I truly love and that is music.  My true passion is singing and playing the guitar for an audience, whether I’m performing solo, duo, or with a band.  Music is always on my mind and once a gig is over I can’t wait for the next one to come up.

I typically perform in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey and have provided live music for private events, wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours, corporate functions, festivals, fundraisers, and of course bars, country clubs, and restaurants.  I play a variety of music including classic rock, country, folk/singer-songwriter, as well as more current pop songs.  I’m looking forward to playing for everyone at the Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show and Country Fair! “

Seamus Kelleher

He has been referred to as “a stand-up comic who happens to be a virtuoso guitar player and natural born story teller,” by New York music critic Mike Farragher. We’re talking about Ireland’s Seamus Kelleher. His music career started in his hometown of Galway in the late 60s where at age fifteen he was the opening act for major groups like Thin Lizzy. Since then, he has toured across the US and Europe performing in venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Excelsior in Rome. In 2011, after fifteen years and over 1000 performances with Philadelphia’s legendary Blackthorn, Kelleher decided it was time to go out on his own where he quickly developed a large following across the US and in Ireland.

In the hands of Kelleher, the acoustic guitar becomes a wall of sound where you feel you are listening to three or more people playing at once. Put together Kelleher’s gifted guitar playing, his distinguished singing voice, and his totally off the wall sense of humor and you end up with a family friendly show unlike anything you have ever seen.
